A day late post (Wednesday 06-17-15)

Yesterday was so humid. Within the first half mile of my run I was ready to throw in the towel and head back home. I always tell myself I'm running for distance, not speed. But it felt like I was moving at a turtles pace. But in the end I wasn't, I had kept my usual cadence. I guess a body just knows where it's comfortable at.

This is the view when I got back. Never mind the obtrusive pole.

And then an hour later some weird fog rolled in.

For breakfast I had the last of my homemade granola with a bit of almond milk. So filling and so good. it is my favorite kind to make with craisins and almonds. I will post the recipe soon.

For lunch it was a quick pasta salad I had thrown together before heading off to the office. Past, tuna, avocado, tomatoes, chickpeas, tossed with some lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Doesn't sound like much but it was really quite tasty.

Later on in the evening the sky opened up and there was a massive downpour with insane pink lighting. Had a nice little pond going on over my patio.

The rain is nice but the ground can't hold much more water. Better than a drought I suppose.

Until next time!
